John Clayton Mayer.

John Clayton Mayer. The second of three children born to Margaret and Richard Mayer. Born October 16, 1977, a full twenty two years earlier than myself, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Raised in Fairfield, Connecticut. Ever since he was a child, he has had a fear of going insane because of a series of panic attacks he had as a child. He still takes Xanax for his phobia. Musical genius. Started playing guitar at the age of thirteen. When he started playing guitar, his schooling went down dramatically because, as he claimed to his principle, "Im not purposely being rude to the teachers, Im just frustrated because I shouldn't be in school. I should be playing guitar." This passion for music actually scared his parents; they sent him to a psychologist, TWICE. John Mayer attended Berkley College of Music in Boston. Currently plays guitar, vocals, omnichord (what is that...?), piano, vibraphone (and that..?), harmonica, percussion, flue, clarinet, and violin.  On the side of his music career, he designs guitars, amplifiers, as well as shirts, and sneakers. He claims he has acheived every goal he had set out to do in his musical career and his new reason for staying in the music business is to "confuse people and prove people wrong." In 2002, he founded the non-profit organization "Back To You," which focuses on education, the arts, and talent development.
This is John Clayton Mayer, in a nutshell, well maybe a bit bigger than a nutshell, a softball perhaps. And he is the absolute best singer/songwriter there is (in my opinion of course - wouldn't want those logical fallacies in my free topic!)
