Jim Crow? Did you mean Jim Crazy?

My apologies, I thought the time was 5:00 on Sunday, but I guess it was changed.
You know, good for them for at least making a pretense of doing the right thing by making things "equal." But lets not kid ourselves, those laws made their lives nothing but equal. the segregation of black and whites often ended up in poor conditions for the facilities of a the blacks while the whites even got extravagant water fountains. It makes me wonder, did these laws make the blacks feel even more oppressed than they had been before? Because they are almost being treated like dogs, they may be legally free dogs, but still they are oppressed. It angers me, to think that people can be so cruel and ignorant. From a country made of immigrants, a county that take pride in calling itself "the melting pot" feels that it is okay to treat other people this way just because they are different. And I understand that many of these people grew up with this prejudice, they probably learned it from their parents, and those are the hardest habits to break. However, they still have a mind of their own and they should know better, morally. Its all just ridiculous.
